Bean Bag Toss Tournament

The Montrose Waverly Chamber Bean Bag Toss Tournament at the Waverly Daze celebration on July 10th was again a HUGE success….despite the brief rain delay (Bean Bagger bonding moment). The field was full with 64 team participating at many skill levels. Next Year….100 TEAMS!

The winners for this year were:

Main Tourney:

1st: Cody and Errol

2nd: Mike and Kevin

3rd: John and Todd

Second Chance Tourney:

1st: Kyle and Gary

2nd: Josh and Jon

3rd: Amy and Lisa

Thank you to all who participated by playing in the tournament, or watching in support of your favorite team.

Thank you also to the Waverly Lions for providing the food and beverage on site, and to all who helped with the organization and running of the tournament. We definitely plan to do it again in 2011….so mark your calendars for Saturday July 9th!

Bean Bag Toss Tournament
        The Waverly Daze Chamber-sponsored Bean Bag Toss Tournament was a big success! Sixty-four teams participated, which was double the number from last year. The weather was ideal for players and their fans, and we received many comments about how fun the event was. The champions of the Main Tournament were Mike and Kevin from Lester Prairie. They beat Scott and Dean (last year's champions) in a rubber match final. The "Second Chance" Tournament was won by Ashley and Jenny. We are looking forward to an even bigger event next year. Thank you to all participants for working with the challenge of our "sub-par" bean bags..!
