1. The derby is scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2007 from 10 a.m. until

2 p.m. Contestants may fish either Big Waverly or Little Waverly lakes.

weight in will be open from 10:15 a.m. until 2 p.m. No fish will be weighed

after 2 p.m.

2. Registration and ticket sales begin at 8:30 a.m. in Waverly American

Legion Waterfront Park.

3. The fishing derby and raffles are separate events. Derby tickets include

a single raffle ticket - additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the

event.

4. All fish must be bought to the weigh in immediately. NO frozen fish will

be accepted for weigh in. Fish must be entered by the rightful

owner/possessor (except for a handicapped individual).

5. All judges decisions are final. In the event of a tie, the first fish

registered is considered the winner.

6. You may register one fish per species, only one person may fish per

entry.

7. Contestants are required to have their entry tickets on them at all

times.

8. Fishing holes will be available, but no equipment will be provided by the

sponsors.

9. To qualify for the derby, all fish must be registered or be in line to be

weighed by 2 p.m.

10. No vehicles will be allowed in the weigh in area, other than those

permitted by contest personnel.

11. Failure to comply with any contest rule subjects contestant to

disqualification.

12. Each person that attends the derby does so at his or her own risk. The

Montrose Waverly Chamber of Commerce and any additional sponsors will not be

held liable for any injuries sustained. It is not recommended that any

vehicles drive on either of the lakes.
